CM Support
The TSC team maintains internal CM on all its products. In addition, several TSC teammates regularly assist the Navy in maintaining CM on several of its programs.

TSC/ Bird Associates Operations has provided Configuration Management (CM) and engineering support to the RAM Program Office since 1987 and WPN Missile Spares Requirements support since 1997. TSC has directly supported the RAM Configuration Manager in all CM areas. TSC has been an active participant in Change Control Board (CCB) meetings and activities and has reviewed engineering change proposals (ECPs), waivers, deviations, and contract data requirements list (CDRL) items to prepare them for CCB review. TSC has been responsible for maintaining ECP, deviation, and waiver packages through the entire approval process, utilizing LiveLink. This has included tracking review comments, obtaining and tracking ORDALT numbers, processing and maintaining CCB directives, preparing and processing requests for Procurement Contracting Officer disposition letters, and interface with various government and contractor support activities.

Sabre developed and maintains a CM Configuration Status Accounting System, a Problem Report Tracking System and an on-line Technical Library System. Sabre CM services are inclusive of all CM functions: identification, control, status accounting, quality assurance and audit. Sabre maintains 16 distinct baselines under CM control at NAWC-AD Maritime Surveillance Aircraft (MSA) Laboratory. Sabre provides support to the Drug Enforcement Administration’s Firebird Intranet. Sabre Systems Administrators, also called Field Information Resource Specialists (FIRS), provide configuration management support to the Firebird network and the 20,000 personal computers that access the network. This work was performed under N00421-99-A-1279, CM1301-02-CT-0014, and AB1330-03-CT-0020.
