Lakota Technical Solutions, Inc. is a systems and computer engineering firm located in Laurel, Maryland. The company was formed in 1997 to provide innovative solutions to the complex problems associated with maintaining the US military’s information dominance on the battlefield of the future. Lakota provides these solutions by applying a holistic approach to a system’s operation as a cohesive unit, rather than developing a single “stove-pipe” solution. Lakota is able to provide this type of “total system” solution to its customers as a result of the systems engineering expertise and softw are and hardware development skills of its staff.  

Lakota has provided design and development expertise to the US Navy and DoD Prime Contractors (Anteon Corporation, EG&G Technical Services, Inc., General Dynamics Advanced Information Systems, Northrop Grumman Information Technology and Raytheon Systems Company) in support of various Network Centric Warfare and Information Superiority projects. These projects have required Lakota personnel to have a detailed understanding of the operation of various command and control systems (e.g., CEC, C2P, ACDS Blk 1, Aegis, E-2C Mission Computer, SGS A/C, SSDS, USMC TAOM) and their associated tactical communication systems (Link-11, Link-16, DDS etc).  
 
Lakota is a Small Business and a Key Contributor on the TSC Team for R&D Support, Modeling, Interoperability/T&E/Trials (Functional Areas 3.1, 3.3, and 3.14) particularly in the Command, Control and Communications areas.
